Parts Wanted WTB .18 Marine Nitro Inboard

I'm lookin a Marine .18 for my Zipp Kits .12 Rigger. I don't want he cheap e-bay ones maybe Nova Rossi / O.S. ones like that.

The 3 port Nova 12 is a great choice. I dont know of a 18 anything that will run with it

An O.S. TZ .18 is a great motor for the .12JAE. Makes prop selection easy and pretty easy to tune.

Get a NR 12 3-5-7 port and that’s all you need !!

If you can find any O.S TZ-18’s they will smoke any Novarossi-12 made.
I like the on-road O.S.-T1202 and T1203 engines as well. O.S. Has some of the finest
machine work in the hobby industry period. Just look at what motors are
dominating in the on-road car racing.

I just built one of these dynamite .19 for mine. I hear they are great and hold up well and have good piston sleeves. One guy has 10 gallons through his and still good pinch on youtube I watch. I used a supertigre head over its button and you can get the squish where you want it too they left the dynamites button long enough to get 4 thou squish looks like with no shims. just cut the stock air head to 2 or 3 fins too like others have done on the novas. If you get the adapter from nova for the sg crank you can just cut the end off the crank and throw it right in. its a 1.8hp same as tz.But I dont always trust the HP numbers but the scream in the big Traxxas tmaxx so they must make pretty good power.
Well see how it runs. I haven't degree wheeled it yet so unsure of the timings. I need to 3d print a smaller degree wheel first.

I am with Mark though on the tz18 it would be best quality but these SH engines dynamite are good quality too I hear . I would just watch like a hawk for a 100 dollar os tz with the rotary carb and threaded crank on ebay I have seen a few come through this year. Just have to really watch some people want crazy money for them. I did the dynamite because the piston sleeve is 44.95 and I wanted to be able to get parts for it.

O.S. Max 18TZ (S)-T Nitro Engine NOS | eBay Here is a new tz on ebay with short shaft but its ridiculously expensive. You would still have to get the nova flywheel kit with this one but they do have a full shaft version too
