Will mold release wax dissolve ABS plastic?

I am trying to make a plaster mold using an ABS part as a plug. This is a one off project so I use plaster than glass. Two part question:

1. Will plaster stick to ABS plastic without any mold release?

2. If the answer is yes, will mold release wax attack ABS plastic?

I don't know of any "wax" that will affect ABS plastic.

Plaster will adhere to ABS for a short time.

Thanks Bob. I think a lot of wax has some petroleum based solvent in it. Maybe I am wrong. I was worried that the solvent that may be in it can dissolve ABS plastic. If you do not think plaster will lock into an ABS part, I will do without it.
