Ok, here are the long awaited details:

The first boat is almost complete (built by David Roach).

I will have mine done this week, then I will make the cowl.

I plan to have everything ready to go by the 1st of March.

The boat looks incredible. I am very happy how the lines turned out.

Specs:

Weight: 4.5 to 5 lbs rtr

Hull Length: 30''

Hull Width: 15-3/8''

Sponson to Sponson: 9-1/4''

Stance: 11-5/16''

Price:

Plans: $35.00

Kits: $125

  I really confuse that the strut is outside on the transon wallso I thought that strut only inside on bottom wall. Do Namba permit legal on rule for Sport 20???

With the strut mount on the back of the transom as shown in the photo, the boat would not be legal in NAMBA Sport 20. However, Brian runs in the IMPBA and it is legal.

Super looking design! Will there be glass or vac formed cowls available for it?

The next step is to build mine, then make a cowl for it. All of the cowls I do for the kits are vacuum formed with either fiberglass/epoxy or carbon/epoxy depending on the pockets of the customer.

For NAMBA, just put the strut under the boat...it will run just fine. The big brother (sport40) runs with the strut under the boat.

Thanks.

Well done Brian, another winner, and I am sure it will perform as good as the sport 40's I have seen run.
