Which ESC ????????????

Hi Guys,

Is an ESC like this worth buying, or should I pass on it and spend a little more? It's just for a 7.2v twin motor cat I have for the kids........... Wore out the old mechanical speed control.

What other economy ESC's would you suggest? Anyone got a cheap used one??

You can try the DuraTrax STREAK ESC. Its a forward only esc rated I believe 6-10 cells. You can find it at Tower Hobbies, cost about $30bux.

Hey Bob,

Those controls are apparently pretty good. Some guys use them on stock 700 tyoe motors ( a little bigger than yours, but only 1) and 12 cells with good luck.

For the money if it will do what it says you "should" be okay. I really can't think of anything in that price range (50 bucks or less) that would be any better.
