What would this pipe work on?

I've had this pipe and header for a while with the intention to fit it to my Deltaforce mono/Mac 21.

Appears this exhaust is very short compared to the the CMB header/Quiet pipe currently fitted to the boat.

Will this be a good pipe/header for my mono?

Or should I look for something else?

That is a cooper S pipe. Amazing .21 hydro and sport 20 pipe. My favorite so far by far..

Fitted the header and pipe today.

Possibly won't get a chance to run it until the weekend.

I have just guessed the length for now....got plenty of adjustment to go shorter or longer.

Brad the cooper s pipe will not work on a 21 mono I tried it all it would do is build up heat and boat won't go try a ops 3280 that's the ticket

Thanx for the kind words .... I am no expert but in my setup the Cooper Spipe does work well ... 5 port nova rossi, orlic carb, and using a chopper prop ... With 50% wildcat and Odonnell 89 plug .... When shes on the pipe, I just hang on for the ride !!!

Julius, what length are you running the S pipe at in your mono?

I personally love that pipe. Its abit more finicky on length then the 3280, but once you get it to hit, its def. a better pipe IMHO.

I measure it with the Power surge measuring tool so there is no confusion if I measured incorrectly ... It runs very well just a tick over 9" .... Keep in mind I am from winnipeg/canada so the elevation is different from where you guys are from ... And yes I have tried the OPS 3280 but the cooper Spipe makes the nova scream ... I did not lose any range in power ... and it does mill very well ....

In an outrigger on 60% with the same model Nova engine and a factory carb I run the S pipe at 7 3/4" or less depending on prop selection. Minneapolis is about 100ft higher in elevation than Winnipeg...Must be why the Red River flows North.

Julius, The Twin Cities Model Boat Club's home pond is in Eagan Mn. approximately 2 miles directly South of the Mall of America. The club website has a map and directions. www,tcmbc.org I used to run boats on Wolf lake when I lived up in Bemidji.

No problem, What other classes do you run boats in? Your A mono would run as a B mono in IMPBA, B mono, Sport tunnel, B tunnel, and Sport 20 hydro are very popular classes at the TC club.

I also run Sport20 Larry .. My PT SSP21 CMBRs7 Powered ... Steve Muck Sport40 CMB Rs powereplant, An Ac Lazer CMB Greenhead powered, and as you saw my A mono Nova Rossi ... Other boats projects in the works ...
