what prop for a 2.6 cc engine ..?

Anything from 37mm to 40mm depending on pitch.

What sized shaft are you using? It might just get away with a X437/3.

he tim . thanx the shaft is a .188 with dog drive .. yeah that x437/3 blade is the one i am thinking about .. i might reduce the diameter a bit .. but if u think its a hell of a prop to spin for that engine.. i may be look for something else

Try it 1st - more than likely it will need the diameter to be reduced but who knows - it might just work

If it doesn't like the 3 blade prop, try a X438 cut down in diameter.

I asked the "miniracingteknik" guys about the same thing... only .15.

Think they're swedish champions.

But anyway. They told me that the smaller(40-42mm?) octuras should give the best result. But it's on the border if the engine isn't strong enough.

hehe... Decided I proly won't get my engine to kick like that, so went graupner carbon.

I've got a 23" CAT with a Traxxas TRX2.5 engine and ended up cutting an X438 2-blade to 36.5 mm. It's still not an easy match if you don't have a free running hull and the right tuned pipe. Power at the upper RPM range is very dependant on having the proper pipe/prop/motor combination.

There are a but only a few manufacturer that offer 3/16 non-cavitating props in the 35mm range. I think that RRR is one of the them.

What hull are you getting?

eric .. thanx that cat of ur s must be about the same size .. mine will be 22 inch and 8 1/2 inch wide , i bought it second hand from ebay . it need some work .. i think its a german scale hull but i want to transform it into a kind of dragcat . ;D
