I had two of the Dynamites go bad this weekend.

One just dont work, Light comes on, nothing. dead.

other one flashes and that means dead battery.

Now i have had these rubber banded to receivers, in a water tight radio box.

course the one boat the dunks the most its still working.

What fail safes are you all running or which ones are you all running?

Thanks for any info.

you can't beat a good ole throttle return spring. no elecronics to worry about and sooooper cheap too. every boat should have one. :)

nah, won't hurt the servo. make sure you use a strong enough spring by testing it. i connect one end of the spring to the throttle body's tiller arm and the other to the crankcase somewhere. if you have fins, you can drill a small hole thru one, or to the header spring's hole, or put a thin little stainless tab on a backplate screw (kinda like a thin washer with a little tab sticking out the sideof it with a hole thru it)

they can save you a headache (or someone else)

I've been using a GWS one for the last 12 months - no problems so far.

I'm using a RAM model.. Only problem I had with it is that it won't work with a Futaba FM reciever if a 5 cell battery pack is used. When this unit was purchased, quickly ran into this issue. Called RAM and he sent me to the guy that designed it.. Works great, but very large in size.
