What is this Hydro ?

I have digged out this FB big boat from the storage after 17 years, it measured at length 52" and 26" wide. repainted it and my friend put a standard 26CC Zenoah on it to try, but it is not rising at all.

Can anyone identify this boat ?

What engine suits and what propeller ?

good looking paint job. it looks like an aeromarine sport x hydroplane with turbine cowl.

the optional GP cowl provided a scale appearance.

should have an aeromarine label glassed into bottom inside.

if no label, it's probably one of the copies that were on the market many years ago.

stock zen 260 with a 275 / 2 prop should get it up on plane.

X-470 octura prop,light load on motor,tuned pipe set at 12.5-13.5 inch to center band following pipe from flange to center band.stock motor will handle this,set strut level at 1" depth from bottom of hull!
