Just want to know best pipe prop and glow plug....I have a new Mac pipe comeing and have had good luck with other Mac pipes on other motors, I also pick up a new h-7 that I balanced and sharpened...for glow plug I will be running 60% I got a bunch of nice plugs I be live they r nova c6tc and c6tf...not sure witch ones r better...Motor is in Cajun bullet and will start pipe at 8 have heard some people running pipe shorter then that...

I have tried 4 different pipe's >

Dave Roach told me about the .21 CMB nitro pipe ,

 Awesome result's .............

James,

Plug- O'Donnell T-77 the best one for 12 & 21 engines with turbo heads.

The 50040 Nova Nitro Pipe just under 7.75"

H-7 with reduced cup around 3.46" at 46 mm diameter

There are better propellers, but that is a good start for that boat.

James.. just some basics… lets start with that.. you have a great start with that boat.

Might be good to start with a Bag stock Octura 1445 or Grimracer L42X66 just to get the boat running. H7 is a great prop.. hang on to that baby!

60% Nitro is good.. start with a med plug like the OS RP6.. (turbo) type and OS#8 (non turbo type).

Just about any pipe will get the boat running so stick with what you have.. you can VERY easily make changes when the time comes.

Shoot for around 55 to 60 MPH on the above.. if you can get to those numbers easily go ahead and try the prop and then maybe a pipe. If you can not get to those numbers re-check the setup on the boat. Make sure you don’t have any rocker on the sponsons or you don’t have the prop set to low.

Keep use posted..

The 50050 pipe is so quiet its hard to hear when racing.... I have one im thinking about cutting the muffled part off of it but want to do some testing first. The 50040 is a great all around pipe from what ive seen.

Might have to get me a couple nova pipes and try them....Or if any one has one for sale I would buy it from them.....now a ? And maybe Glenn can chim in I wanted to run a couple tanks on bench rich but what should I bring the temp up to on motor....have 3rd channel needle so I can use that to richin and lean it out....Or should I wait until I can put in water with a load on it....I sent it out to have head button done on it so I don't blow plugs on it all the time or burn it up from running to lean....just waiting for motor to come back now so just get ing so info on how to correctly break it in....
