What cutters are everyone using for cutting sleeve ports, cranks, or case mods? Carbides, stones, rubber abrasives? Links would also be helpful. Im tired of filing with a set of small hand files. Just takes to darn long. yes, I know, im crazy

I haven't used carbide in quite a few years. The impact on the edge of the chrome is high and can cause unwanted problems. Plus they can take a bunch in a sudden Skreetch!,, when you want a little

I have been using the cheap diamond dremel sets, small barrels and drums mostly. They take the brass & chrome off much more gradually and the impact is low. Clean-up I use the rubberized cratex like bits and also use a small rolled up piece of 500 wet&dry to take sharp edges off all the ports.

I have several TT O/B sleeves in the field with All the ports cut and they are still running after many years, go figure ;)
