Need to put air dam on my ML boat works 8255 gas scale hull. Should I go 90 degrees down from tunnel or angle back. Any suggestion would be appreciated. She has flown with windy conditions down the front straight.

Just drop the strut 1/8th of an inch and forget the air dam. Don Pinckert said it best. So long as the transom is higher than the bow the boat can't blow off the water.

I have the ML 1/6 scale bubble bud. It has quite a bit of ramp as well. I am also running with down canard and 9 ounces of led. She runs pretty loose but since I dropped the strut she stays down.

Build yourself a one inch air dam right at the bull nose of the boat. Use quarter round from the hardware store and cut it the shape of the nose of the boat. My PT 8255 rarely lifts off after a few mods under the boat.
