WANTED - OB Lower Unit and Motor Cover

Hey All

just wondering if anyone here happened to have any lower units they dont really need and would be willing to sell it at a certain price?

im looking for one to maybe convert to electric...so any lower unit with any mods could be considered

im also looking for a DPI motor cover (or something like it) if someone has one?

Since K&B parts are being manufactured out of "Unobtainum," I reluctant to let loose of any of my lower units. That's the "Scrooge Jerry" part of me.

Is that a new kinda metal? I think I remember hearing that it can only NOT be found in Southern California...then again, I haven't heard of it being found anywhere else either???

Have an old (5yrs) 7.5 power unit also. Runs. will take just about anything for it.

No I'm laying a BESA block retaining wall 12m X 1m for the lovely wife before Xmas. Is eating in to my boat building time. > I think I have worked out how to paint your boat and I am sure you will be happy. ;D

I have a brand new in the bag lower unit for a 3.5 engine. It's just the two lower halves. I have the prop shaft assembly new in the bag for it as well if you need that. I've moved out of the 3.5 class due to the big gas boats at my pond tearing up the water. Make me a fair offer and there your's

Are any of these used 3.5 lower units still available? I'm trying to make my tunnel electric.

BTW, What's a reasonable weight for an electric tunnel?

how many cells are you planning to run, what motor and what boat (length?) correct wieght basically depends on what specs you are going to use

I had e-mailed to you previously....I sent you the pics of a tunnel I was thinking of purchasing (you said it was the Bud light boat, BTW I passed on it). So still looking for good tunnel to make electric.

i remember now...have you decided how many cells you were planning to run with? because its less than 12 i would go for the Kyosho unit, and modify it a bit...mainly because of the weight difference
