Looking for a used 3.5cc "Tommy Lee" Leecraft in good condition. Sold my original Leecraft when I got out of the sport about 8 years ago. Now I have the time to do it again. Wish I never sold it or the Youngblood 7.5cc I had. >
Didn't know that! I was looking for the 3.5cc tunnel that he made back in the late 1980's. I looked at B&M's and it looks similar but there was a recess in the front to make it look like it had an open cockpit. (You could glue a figure on top of the cowl if you wanted). The rear also just had a straight firewall about 1" thick. I don't remember it having a shelf for the tank.
Lohring Miller at B&M Leecraft has that mold. He was producing the boats for a while, but stop. I think there was not that much interest. You may be able to talk him into one more. Who knows. Give him a shout. FYI that is the XT-120 boat.
I believe that ALs Hobby shop in Chicago has one of the B&M boats in stock. You should check them out at www.alshobbyshop.com If you call there, ask for Cindy. hope this helps you out. Ken
