Wanted: .21 Aeromarine Cat cowling

I think this is the old .21 Jesse James or Popeye hull from Aeromarine. Anyone have a cowl they'd like to sell??

I think they only did a Jesse James version of the 21 cat. You know if you don't need it I could find a good home. LOL

Although the wife thinks I'm losing the plot. LOL I think the word is lost not losing.

I thought that was the case w/the Jesse James. I think Aeromarine lost the decals to this boat in their fire? It would be cool to get the original J.J. decals!

Yup those women are always trying to keep us down, well the boat quantity down that is. I've actually started to dwindle down to 15 boats, can you imagine that?? LOL ;D

I might be sending it to you any way. I bought it for Roddy to run in the "Kids are Boaters Too Class" but I think the rules say: Mono's and Tunnels only.

I've yet to get confirmation on that! I went to Aeromarines web-site and they only sell .21 Popeye's. The replacement hatch is $38.95, ouch! Might just have to run it naked. LOL

If you have to run it 'naked' it would hardly be suited to kids. LOL I can come up with a cowl if I have a hull to work with, hint, hint. LOL

Is the kids are boaters class limited to a capacity also?

It's funny how the engines are limited to capacity, a .21 or 3.5 engine. However, there's a couple kids running Daddy's modified A-mono that's blazing up the course against little kids running regular engines. It's simply a 5 minute race, most laps wins. My boys, especially Romeo are starting to get competitive so he wants to win. He races a stock 3.5 DPI tunnel and does very well. However, it's the old motor w/stock black carb. It works good for him because it won't roll over. The challenge is when he get's buzzed by a 54 mph mono. That's what he wants. That's also why I built the Microburst w/the purple head Nova Rossi as a back up. Now my problem is I'll be having three kids racing that class now. My daughter got the bug to race.

I can see her and Romeo fist fighting over who won! LOL She's my angel and all but she tough. LOL
