I've been to newtonmarine.com and have the two pics I could find of the round-nose version of the Vans PX boat, but if anyone has any links or more information about this boat that they wouldn't mind sharing, would you please contact me at:

[email protected]

I may be interested in putting one of these together for FE Racing...

Thanks,

What year?
There were a few different boats which carried the Van's PX name.

I think I'm looking for the 1979 Vans PX boat... I believe the same boat also ran in 1980 as the Don Cambell's Food Service

I'm trying to get myself excited about building a round-bow, and the cab fwd design and rear wing make it look a whole lot more appealing, even though I know the wing could possibly hurt performance...

Anything you might have would be appreciated so I can get a better look at the paint scheme and overall layout...

Thanks,

try www.theboat.net

I haven't found any more photos.

You could get the one sheet detailing the paint scheme from Roger, if you really wanted to get the paint details correct.

Other than that you have to hope someone has pictures from around '80-'81.

Thanks Kevin... I'll have to take a walk over to Roger's house and buy a set of plans from him...

Someone built this exact hull, for 1/8 scale. I saw it in Orlando a couple years ago. Jim Irwin knows who has it. Maybe he could get pictures of the model for you.
