It even saves you a bit on flat rate usps. Very easy to use. For parcels you input actual dimensions, weight, and destination address. It gives you options for delivery. The insurance is third party and I have not needed to make a claim so have no idea what happens when things go bad.

Would any of you using Pirate Ship enlighten an old, untrusting individual how it works and actual results of shipping experience.
Thanks, Rick
PirateShip is awesome, Rick....the UPS is the best option, and once you've printed out the label, applied it and package ready to send, go to UPS app, setup an account (free) and schedule for them to come pick it up at your house/shop.

They also give you $100 in insurance, and additional insurance is far cheaper than what USPS and UPS charge directly.

By the way, PirateShip has the best live chat and there's always someone available to assist in prompt fashion....you'll love it!

I bought a large catamaran from someone on Facebook, had them give me size and weight of package, got their info, and went to PS and purchased label (download) and sent it to them in an email attachment.
