Hey all,

Im an aussie, and ive been offered a slightly damaged "USA Rigger" built for a zenoah.

Now i got a few questions, coz im on a budget i only at present have an 18.4cc motor i can put in it, not a zen :(

A bloke at my local boat store said that to get a rigger running well, it needs horsepower, and that my motor just wont do it.

What do you guys think?

Also, the bottom of the hull has supposedly come off and the original owner had just gaffataped it.. But i assume if tape can keep it solid then it should only need to be clamped and glued back together again.

Then theres the sponsons. They are "loose" and need to be opened and fixed (somehow)? the wood on the inside edge of the sponson appears to be damaged.

What would you guys advise?

Ben

Mate, you might be better off putting your motor in a mono.

You'll get more enjoyment and reliability out of it.

Where are you located?

We just happen to have a couple of monos for sale.
