I'm a newbie with this scanner thing. I programmed in the frequencies but I don't know if it's looking for AM or FM or one of the other several radio frequencie types this thing will scan for. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

If you have a regular scanner, these should be in Mhz. I think Am is khz, and FM is down around 100 mhz.

These are up in the cell phone frequencies. If you don't get a boat, you might get someone calling his girlfriend. Actually cell phones are more like 910.000

Look me up in Tri-Cities if you have any problems.
