unknown rigger style

just wondering if anyone has seen this style rigger before i have never seen one without a strut before it has a solid shaft instead of a flex shaft not sure if this is a custom build or a kit the motor is a ops 67

That is one that Marty built. Late 70's or maybe 80 or 81. The last ones that Marty built about 1982/83 had the nose "bobbed". I had the bobbed 45 version with a Picco 65 in it. Ran a Mongoose style turnfin on it. Was wicked fast for that time period.
