would carpet two sided tape be the same as servo tape. and will either of the two be strong enough to hold the throttle servo for a while.

No, You can buy 3M 2 sided tape at Autozone in the Sealants and chemical section.

what you want is the 3M heavy duty, it will be a dark grey/black color (vice the white stuff)

You can get the good stuff from Home Depot in the paint department, where the have to super glue, and Goop, Shoe Goo and such.

or you can get a large roll of the good stuff from Office Depot

Autozone - O'Reillys, like Joe w. said, just have it in the right spot when you stick it! That stuff really holds. it comes in 1/2" or 3/4" wide rolls, good luck! Rick L.

3M is the best stuff. If it will hold on my twin rear sponsons, I am sure it will do a servo.
