Are you talking about Terry's Turbo head that uses a standard plug or are you talking about a head that uses turbo plugs? I run the turbo plugs in my MACs and I like the RB ot NR plugs. They seal better. I run the hot plugs with the wire pulled down. on the 21's.

i have a picco 45 45 and the head is one that Frank orlic made. what head do you use in the mac motor joe? where do you get the plugs. do hto plugs work with high nitro?

Andy sells the Turbo heads for the MAC. I'm running 65% nitro with the hot plug. I get the plugs from Mike Hallam or Bill McGraw.

joe do you think that the motor has to be turbo to use a turbo head and plug?
No I don't because my motor is not a Turbo motor. It was a stock MAC that I just changed the head on.

For heat racing a TURBO glow plug head is a waste of time and money.
But you'll spend $100.00 to get a motor reworked to gain 500 rpm's? If you can get it out of the plug, it's cheat speed.

The head cost the same as a standard head. The plugs are $3.95 each. It's not a big differance in price.
