Tuned Pipes "staging"

We all know what a tuned pipe sounds like when it turns on or "stages". Very few of us are lucky enough to find a pipe/boat/motor combo that will stage more than twice. On rare occasions I've had a pipe 3rd stage & seen it done on someone else's boat. But this weekend at record trials I & a select few heard something incredible, Kentley Porter's SAW 21 boat staged FOUR DISTINCT TIMES! It was simply awesome, something you cannot put into words, you just had to be there to appreciate it. The sad part is the boat caught a little wind & left the water, it was broken up too badly to save when it came down at over 100mph........

Pics are a sore subject with me. I borrowed a digital camera for the event so I could post some good pics for everybody. The thing says it has 122 minutes of battery time. Ten pics and 5 minutes later it says 108 minutes of time. Good. Preston, Yea I bought a Samsung 3.0 Digi sumpin er other, got 10 pics, batteries dumped, loaded the spare set I had, 6 pics and dump again, took it back and went with my 35mm,

It's another term for when your engine "turns on" to the pipe.

I only brought the D hydro to SAW. Oval trials are in 2 weeks @ Chesapeake.
