is it safe to put tubes inside of tubeless tires ??.....I have a rim leak in one of my aluminum styled wheels....thanks....bob
thanks tomBob, All of mine leaked so bad from corrosion I was putting air in them every 3 days. One would go flat. What is needed is a good wire wheel cleaning especially around the balancing weight. The damn salt around us is a killer. Firestone at the Blvd.Mall finally fixed the problem for me. You don't want to use an innertube because balancing the tire would be a real b****h. Tom
No, tires sold with tubes has the insides if the tire buffed so the tube wont get poked, tubeless tires are not buffed and will eat, put holes in the tube after very short amount of miles.is it safe to put tubes inside of tubeless tires ??.....I have a rim leak in one of my aluminum styled wheels....thanks....bob
