Our Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister quit in disgust yesterday just hours before she was supposed to deliver the "Fall fiscal statement", the second most important account of our government's spending after an actual budget. It was later dropped on us by "breast feeding" MP Karina Gould who left Parliament right after with no comment only to find they had overspent their 2024 budget by 50+%.

He will step down and because she is still deputy Prime Minister she will move up.
Then everyone will praise her for taking him down.

Pierre Poilievre almost sounds like he's talking about Joe Biden instead of Justin Trudeau. I never realized how bad the Canadian government could get. Guess I've been paying so much attention on how bad the "Biden Crime Family" is that I missed what was going on with our northern neighbors. Poilievre did get one thing wrong, however. He stated that Donald Trump "wants" to impose tariffs, when that isn't the case. Trump wants the Canadian and Mexican governments to help stop illegals and drugs from coming into the US and is using tariffs as a bargaining point to get that help. Is it underhanded and devious? Very much so. But when you look at the bigger picture, both Poilievre and Trump want the same thing, to protect and strengthen their countries. I can only think that Trump was watching these speeches at his house and nodding when Poilievre said he wants to make a deal with Trump that is in the best interest of both countries. As someone that has friends in Canada, I would love to see that myself
