Just about to complete my "Wild Thing" 45 Mono , does anyone know where i can get some decent trim tabs, the speedmaster ones are good quality, but not long enough,- with ref to John's recommendation on the 21 plan version of the boat

any ideas are greatly appreciated

Speed master makes a long trim tab that is too wide so I cut them in half to make two.

Works great.

thanks David , I actually have a set of those, i was just not sure if they were long enough to work correct, they certainly do seem to wide as well

Here is a pic of them installed on my 39" Cal craft.

You will have to drill a new hole in each half to mount.

Shane , Dave's 40 mono runs well- for a boat with trim tabs

Your missing the jam nut on the right side btw Dave. You gonna run that wild child again in 2013 ?

I got George's running pretty well.

Hope your well bud B)

NAA Have a new one coming. this one weighs 10 lbs with all the repairs done to it.

The new one will come in at 7 lbs. Wonder how it will run 3 lbs lighter.

The old one is going to Sweden for a stretch job to run saw.

Will be fun next year racing. ;)

Don't make me pull the picture out. <_<
