Transponder position

With the transponders AMBrc (power source from receiver battery), where is the best position inside boat ?

With a deck glass-epoxy, there is a problem if I place the transponder in the radio box, under the deck, on a right or left side ?

Have you ideas ? Advice ?

I don't think left or right is to important for your boat but perhaps you want to force your nose past the boat next to you when the time of the race is up so

perhaps think about putting it forward as far as possible?

Kinda difficult Tom as u need the power of the receiver battery and , if not mistaken , its fully open , it has no real cover on it .

Do you used AMBrc transponder in USA ?

Front, back, right or left the thing counts laps whether the front, back, right or left side of the boat went six laps. It doesn't matter.

Sign me up for a jacket too!
