tornados in IL

Just got word that my cousins house was destroyed in the tornado that hit Washington IL a suburb of Peoria please keep them in your prayers

Got just a little wind storm and hail yesterday, Cliff, Larry and the rest of the SummerThunder club had are Club meeting..... weather wasnt that bad..... Hope all works out for your cousins Pete.

I found a piece on white siding wrapped around our swing set in the back yard.. it was not mine.. I have NO Idea where it came from.



The shingles are on the house.. good eh!

We got hit with it yesterday afternoon about 4:30. The second front rolling through was much worse than the first, winds up to around 61 MPH. There were a lot of unconfirmed tornadoes but damage is what you'd expect with those kind of wind speeds. I'm off the grid right now with a generator running in the backyard. Restoration is anytime between now and Saturday. I've heard number of between 186,000 to 213,000 homes without power in this part of Michigan.

I'm still cleaning up from the last storm that rolled through here. A neighbor's rotted tree fell into my yard, narrowly missing my toy boat trailer.

Wind and rain was bad by me. My buddy's son & daughter-in-law ( she is pregnant with twins) lost everything in Washington, IL They just made it into the basement in time. They are okay other than the trauma,of what they went thru..
