Oh thank may not work for me I'm running 60% fuel any suggestion on a good spray paint for high nitro.

Don't really have the time to whip out the spray gun.

Thanks Albert M

The 2k spray will work. 2 part in a can, fuel proof as 2 part auto clear, can be had in colors. I run 65% with lustrekote clear. The trick is cure time - like 2 MONTHS!! That, & wiping up any spills.....

I've used a lot of the LustreKote rattle cans over the years. It seems like the longer it's on the more impervious it is to nitro. I've got some that has had 65% on it and it was never fazed.

They make 2 shades of yellow, one's bright, the other a little darker, the Cub yellow.

I think that they deliberately under-rated the amount of nitro that it can take to be on the safe side. It just seems that the longer time that it has to cure the more fuel-proof it becomes. I painted a field box with it that's mostly used for a power panel, fuel pump and transporting the fuel can. Fuel gets slopped all over it and none has wrinkled or peeled off over the years. I've painted many boats using it also, never a problem. You might want to use the gloss clear as the colors aren't that shiny. If you need a primer, use the white instead of the white primer otherwise it's tough to sand if you need to. It seems to cover better also.

Thanks for info Ron ! I like to add a bit of color to my riggers

The lustrekote colors, clears & primers are lacquer based, so any lacquer auto primers & colors will work under the clear. More better color choices!
