Hey, can you guys check and see if any of those shafts have a "gold spiral wire" wound into them?

If so, I will pay you $10 for one along with a new replacement plus your postage.

Those particular shafts aren't anything special for a 21 powerhead but they are the only ones that

hold up to my .28 and .30 powerheads on the TT lower units.

If you have more than one to sell/swap , the same deal apply's each additional shaft.

Jerry, not sure if it matters or not, but the shafts he is selling are all Lawless shafts, not OEM TT.

Yeah it matters Top,, the TT shafts I'm in need of have a "single gold colored wire" wound in with the rest

of the wires. It was a TT shaft that was sold with the O/B for a period of time and sold as replacement parts too.

The unique thing about them is that they were wound with finer wire and wound perdy stiff.

The squared end's were squeezed slightly smaller too, where they didn't get stuck in the lower square drive gear.

Once that happened(with the other TT shafts) , tightening of the flex would pull the gear down and screw-up the

gear lash. The greater power of the O.S.30 combined with the larger props had a tendancy to do this, as well as

twisting off the squared end of the usual shafts.

They are for the TT, but they are made by Lawless. Lawless makes shafts for many different engines, K&B, Lawless, OS, TT Etc.
