PMBC Soon, for us up north, the snow will be in the air, and our boating season will end for the year. Before this sad day comes, join us at the Last Slash (IMPBA District II), race on October 10th and 11th in Seville, Ohio. Lets have some fun, exciting racing, and a great time.

Find more information and an entry form, click on the attached PMBC link and look under Thunder 2009.

Hope to see you in October.

Had a great time in Hobart and thanks Bruce, Stu, the City, and the rest of the hard working people who made this possible. Now, it's time to concentrate on The Last Splash (Thunder in the Valley), here in Seville. If your planning on joining us, send in your entry and shoot me an e-mail. I would like to get the final classes posted and awards ordered soon.

Racers, as of today we're looking at 37 drivers and 116 boats. Don't forget about the night race Saturday and PMBC will be providing your dinner (minus drink) under the lake pavilion. Shaping up tp be a great time.

See you in Seville,

Mike and the PMBC Members

Mike Racers: as of now there are 43 drivers entered and 129 boats. As this continues to grow, some classes are maxed out and entry closed due to time restraints. If you have been waiting to come join us, please e-mail me first to see if I there is a spot for you.

Races will be run in the shootout format with your next heat built depending on your previous results.

If you plan on camping at the campgrounds, music is the theme at the park and is played nightly until 11:00.

Saturday night (weather permitting) night race under the stars (B nitro, RTR, Small FE's Welcome)

Friday after setup, open water and the drivers challenge.

Think we're going to have a great time.

Racers: It's almost here Thunder in the Valley "The Last Splash" 47 drivers 133 boats and 27 heats per round. Saturday night dinner smells great already and the glow sticks are ready for the night race. Offshore racers: hope your boat likes to to turn left. Going to end 2009 in style.

Racers: Race update: Hotel Information can be found on the attached 2009 NATS Flyer. I could not find my non-pdf copy to get rid of the non-hotel information. I went to the lake and found that the 224 east exit is closed coming on 71 from the north. If your heading South on 71 you have to get off on the 76/224 and go west and get off at the first exit to head back east. About a five minute diversion, if it is not back open by the weekend. Early weather forecast is good Chance of rain Friday, Slight chance of rain Saturday, clear skies Sunday.

Mike

If it rains, I would like to take this moment to start blaming it on PETERSON.......... It's all his fault!

Lack of sleep will make you crazy and do silly things. The 76/224 west exit is closed, head east to the first exit and then head west.

Big thanks out to PMBC, Mike Laing, Ed Mazzola for another great job behind the mic, and PETERSON...... the weather cleared up just in time on Saturday morning. I had a lot of fun at the last race of the season.
