Hello i just recieved thrust bearing no install instructions im assuming you push the thrust bearing up against the front motor plate and push the flex hex as tight as [possible and tigthen on to the bearing please correct me if wrong. Also received shotky diodes again no instruction im assuming they are polarized .Which side do's the silver stripe go to ? Regards Andris Golts.

Do you get instructions when you order nails or screws? Small parts are assumed by vendors to be owner-installed by someone who knows how to install them....

But that's what the forum is for. Installing the thrust bearing is easy, but not quite like you stated. You want there to be a little end play on the motor shaft with the bearing and coupler installed. This is so there is no bind caused by pulling the shaft tight against the front motor bushing. If it is a 700 motor, place a piece of printer paper between the thrust bearing and the coupler and tighten them up. Remove the paper and you will have a small but sufficient amount of endplay. Other motors may require a different technique.

The Schotkey is polarized, the end with the band goes to the positive terminal of the motor.
