need some advice again got a new three blade prop (x457/3) done the normal prep work but unsure how to get it balanced as I have never done a three blade any advice would be more than welcome thankyou

Same as a two blade, put it on a balancer and see if it goes to a heavy blade, file some off the blade.

If it stops with one blade up remove metal from both blades that are on the bottom. File off metal from the lowest point of the heavy blades.

Chuck it up in a metal lathe and get all the blades the same first.

Then proceed to work them all about the same till it balances out.

It should stop different everytime when you get it close. They take

some time to get close, but even the blades up first will help you get

their sooner.
