I thinned some once with 91% and sprayed it with an airbrush. Worked good for me. Watch the overspray it's nasty.

If you want it to flash very quickly thin it with Acetone or if medium flash use MethylEthylKetone (M.E.K) or if you want it to last a good long time use Alcohol.

Watch the M.E.K. it’ll sneak up on ya

;) I use Acetone, A little bit thins out the epoxy a bunch. It soaks in real fast and acetone evaporates fast too allowing epoxy to thicken back up and set quicker as well.

ALL my wood boats are sealed this way, The water thin epoxy really soaks in the first few coats and causes the wood to get a very hard and durable skin.

Pick up some 'completely denatured' alcohol from your local pharmacist...works like a champ without the added water of isopropyl alcohol.
