I'm debating on whether or not to attempt building this kit. I'm a novice when it comes to building and I have concerns whether or not it's something I could do on my own. Is it as simple as everyone on here says it is? Any info would be appreciated.

Very simple, just follow the directions exactly and use epoxy with at least 30 min. pot life time.

Going with the reccomended hardware and ul-1 motor what kind of speeds should I expect from this boat? As far as experience I've been in the hobby a number of years but this would be my first fast electric. Any issues there?

55 to 60 mph on GPS depending on prop. Prop to keep temps below 120 F on motor, esc and batterys as soon as you come in and you are good to go for oval racing!

It takes very little rudder input. on the servo end use the closest hole to the hub and the rudder end the furthest one out. As allready stated 55-60mph is normal.

f41...this is just about as easy as it gets as far as building a rigger goes. If you take your time AND follow the building manual instructions, you should not have any problems. You can do this!

I sure will. I'd imagine I'll have plenty of ?'s along the way. What's the consensus on struts to use? I'm probably gonna use the zippkits rudder/motor and other hardware.
