I was breaking in a new liner/piston fit and I did not want to tweak the engine down to lean. I will be able to add pitch to the prop (because of the pipe) in a substantial amount, so I am not sure exactly how much speed it will pick up. It will be a nice pickup though... I doubt that it will be 10mph. That would be a little much to ask. I guess I should order a pipe before all of them are gone.

Does the 20 hydro pipe run at a length that would be compatable with a 180 degree header or would it have to be cut into "the bend" ?

The .21 pipe has enough material to be cut to fit wrap around headers,

for 8.5 in. down to 7.5 in. and less.

From very good sources, all testing has shown shorter pipe lenghts

in all the new pipes, 7 3/4" on .21 down from 8" and better yet on

.45, 9" down from 9 1/2".
