Tempature guns

Hello as i mentioned in the previous post i have been away from the fast electric scene for 5 years now i have observed that racers use temp guns to check motor ,cell andspeed control tempature .What is a good precise tempature gun to buy? Again any input would be appreciated.

I've used my Raytek Mini-Temp - an industiral-grade instrument - for several years. Nowadays Duratrax and others make smaller, less expensive tools which seem to work well too. B)

Hi,

I use the small Duratrax one, about 25 bucks and it works great. I have checked it against ones like Jay has and they are accurate.

I use the Raytek MiniTemp with laser .

I think it is great.

the smaller Duratrax type seem to be very handy & take up less room in your tool box.
