TCMBC "Border Battle" Points Race 2 Saturday July 20

This year's "Border Battle" MAY feature a race between Mike Larson driving Rodney Pierce's Mongar Modded sport O.S if reducing the cup in his 1440 prop to 2.4" does the trick AND Mark Leyde helps Tim drive to Larry's house and pick him up for the race AND Larry is able to "sporterize" one of his 21 tunnels in time between his son's football games and a hail storm.

Rumor has it Ron Shaw will be the honorary CD for the featured race.

HEY !!! I got one of those monger modded sport OS engines and I have a shouland 1440 prop and a ML boatworks NX 300 also. I may have to put some chips into the pot, and come play that day.

Greg... now thats an invitation!... May, is a good use of the term there.... we shall see... there's alot dependant on well, like, borrowing Rod's boat in the first place, lol, I know where a good one is in Ankeny, too, maybe... maybe even Marion.... idk... dependant other things like Tim finding Larry's new place, alloting time to get to the event, pending sportie installs, and on and on... I actually was ready to travel north for the last one.... hydro's in tow.... ill start hammering out Iowa opinion tommorow during testing and maybe we'll drag more than me up there..... Dan... I'd picked up along the way... that you came to play.... idk... i dont race tunnels but could dust off my modified possibly.....it'll make bouy 4.... somebody come and pick me up too?... anybody?... i'll try Greg... hang tough brother.... and, may i say... youre doing a great job, with the club, from promotion to logistics... keep on keepin on... Hahaha, Larry is getting the NS295 ready. Talked to him yesterday. Mark will have a 20 hydro ready. I will have a Phil Thomas Stealth ready for a main voyage. Both hulls freashly painted and ready for battle scars... Sign up on the site, please.

Mike we have the p spec electric classes in the drop down list for mono, tunnel, and sport hydro. Just let me know if there is a class you need added to the list and I will be glad to add it.

I keep looking for you and Butch on that list for D hydro. Would be a blast to have 5 boats out there.

Greg... Marty and the guys all built spec tunnels, and our airplane guys, knowing theres heats, they could possibly jump to racing is all.... I'm testing my new 40 build weekly, as its just not up to competition level yet.... I could throw the old RR yet another year, easily, but having the information highway, has seen you and Bob takin 'er up a notch..... soooo... I'm workin on it!... I'm not to pinnacle... I'll enter my best effort just as soon as its ready..... its a little drive to just do laps for points..... Butch' hydro suffered a mishap, this spring, its close, and he'll have it.... hold on brother we'll get up there.... Mike
