Congratulations Todd on your two heat wins and second place finsh at the TCMBC point race #3. Todds boat was much better prepared and it showed it on the race course. Where is the video camera when you really need it?

Yes Todd was smoking fast today in A Hydro! I got a suprize for you Todd at the next race. He He He!

Fellas,

Todd is getting closer to the potential of the motor and pipe combo.

He cut a 1/2" off his pipe finally and it is starting to come to life.

Imagine That!

Todd,

Now just work on the other set up ideas and you will be on your way to

enjoying the hobby to its fullest.

Keep Testing,

Mark Sholund

He also changed pipes. this one works better than the Texan pipe he had on it at the same length. He's going to need a new prop though.

An engine guru once said to me, "All the stars, the sun & moon aligned..." and yesterday was that day for me.... I actually completed a race!! (The reasons I havent are too numerous to list, but all boil down to my own mistakes).

Mark Sholund.... you ruined it... I WAS gonna say "And this prop guru kept telling me to shorten my pipe further", and I finally tried that for yesterday's races w/o even testing.... and what do ya know, I picked up a hundful of MPH and the boat sounds just as he promised, "A Dremel on crack". :D

So what do you have when you all of a sudden/unexpectedly have a quite a bit more faster boat than everyone else - in a 5 boat heat - in the hands of the newest club member/poorest driver?? A shaking, terrified mess! I cant remember the last time I was that scared/shook up.

And so those who have watched my progressive .12 JAP boat vid's dont think we have slow .12 boats in our club.... I'll soon post a 3rd video of how its running now. ;)

Those building these .12 JAP boats are sure gonna be HAPPY when they get it done and tuned right. All I can say is "Holy CRAP"! (And thanks for the comments!)

Hurry up and get your replacement parts, the next race is in 2 weeks. Then you can give those other A boats another thrashing!

What pipe was it? A texan II? Glenn should get that joke. I think he has flown a texan II :)
