You can find some good 3M double sided tape at Lowes. Home Depot, etc. that is about 1/32" thick. Works good for mounting rear sponsons on riggers.

Jack,

How thin does it need to be? How strong? 3M 969 is essentially adhesive film on a peel away paper carrier, pretty sticky too.

Ducky makes a double sided duct tape that is EXTREMELY strong and is incredibly thin. We used it to tape down our lipo batteries when I raced pan cars. It is so strong that we did not use any other means to hold our battery in.

If you can stand a little thickness, automotive trim tape is super. I use it for attaching rear sponsons. It has a very thin layer of foam with adhesive on both sides and a red protective film that you peel off. It is the stongest double sided tape I have ever found. If it needs to be very thin, carpet tape is probably the strongest and available at the big box stores.

Gotta say the Associated double sided thin foam servo mounting tape has had the best adhesive I have ever found and I looked on the 3M site and tried a few of the best 3M tapes that were supposed to replace contact cement on industrial laminates. If you don't need the foam layer you might ask Associated about a thin adhesive tape.

Thanks for the offer, but I am happy with the Automotive trim tape. Jack O'Donnell was the one wanting tape advice.
