My racing partner Frank had a very hard motorcycle crash back in June. Wanted everyone that knows him that he is home and doing well. He still has a lot of issues to deal with, but for a man of 78 yrs. old he has amazed me to see how far he has come since the crash. I hope he gets back to 100% and we can run boats again soon.

Please let hi9m know I am thinking about him and hope he will be racing boats again. I sure miss him.

Just got off of the phone with Frank. He is healing up slowly and is in good spirits. He is going through some of the same things I went through after my big boat accident. When your body gets beat up and won't do some of the things it did before, your brain still thinks you can still do them. It takes a while to adjust. I think we had a good conversation about that. And the older we get the longer it takes for things to heal. You just have to take things one day at a time. Frank will be back up to speed soon enough. We always had a fun time at the races and in the evenings out at dinner and at the motel. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Mike please tell ole Frank that we are thinking about him and hoping for a full recovery and back running boats again soon. Had lots of good times back in the old days, and again a couple years ago in Greensboro, running boats with him. Thanks for letting us know.
