Hi Tom

As a suggestion seeing as this is International Waters - when there is going to be a chat session happening. How about the time - according to the IW site server - so that we all have a consistent reference point so that we can be ready to chat.

Can you tell I'm bummed for missing all the gossip in the chat room. Just an idea to make it easier so that we can schedule it in.

GT

Can the chat be archived and stored on the site somewhere for those who miss it or can't get on because of the @#$%% firewall!

Tim, if the chats were archived, they'd have to be censored!

We (I) try to use a time for here in the States. This can be a pain as it is with the time zones, Daylight Savings Time, etc. If I knew how far apart the time zones were for Australia we could include that also. Kris Flynn has been in there so here should know the time difference. I would estimate an 8:00 PM chat would be around Noon to 2:00 PM your time.

Ha,Ha, Yes the chats sometime exceed the PG-13 rating

So the conversion for OZ is the chat if scheduled for today,

Would be tomorrow in Oz, So that means it was yesterday? :p

Hi Gene,

No the problem is it's Monday here and you guys are still on the weekend. The timing thing can be a pain. I have managed to catch the chat a couple of times but its just been because it was too hot to do any work here (just thought I'd rub it in) so I've logged on and found you chatting.

If we could get past the timing thing more people would join the chat and we could break that pesky login record. It's no wonder we haven't when we can't work out exactly what time it is. I just thought if the site had a clock we would have a common frame of reference.

We could always use GMT as a basis but I don't know what time it is either using that! This site has members from half of the World so is it difficult for us all to get together.

1pm my time saturday and sunday arvo is usually a good time for the chat ;)
Kris,

At that time on those days you should be running your boats - not talking about them on the internet :p :p :p

Sat / Sun no good for me....

Tim.

OK you blokes, the best way to fix this is for you to join our '2004 Ozzy Assault Team' and we can talk all we like when we are at each of the nationals. That way you will be able to chat face to face and the only thing you will have to worry about is 'who's shout is it'!

Plans are well under way and we have 12 team members confirmed and booked. Can't wait for July. I am that excited, I have already started 'practice drinking' just so I can keep up. You know it's hard for us old blokes keeping up, both in boats and drinking.

Booked rooms at both hotels today and entries are 'in the mail'.

Bill Annabel ;)

Some of us can't afford it Bill! I want to go so much it hurts to hear about it :( :( :(

Hi Bill

I would have loved to go over and have my butt whooped in tunnels - but - the wife thinks extending the house is more important than playing with boats. Although she did say we could go another year just not this one. :(

Hey Tim

forgot to say now we can only run once a month I should have plenty of time to 'chat' shame to waste all the good weather but that's life.
