what size stuffing tube do i need for a 3/16 cable, and do i have to use a teflon tube or can i just use the brass tube greased up real well, i am setting up my mono by the way if it helps any
I use 3/16 i.d. tube for the strut bushing and one size larger for the stuffing tube. You can use teflon or not. I run both set ups in different boats. Keep it lubed and an unlined brass tube will give you no problems. I use chain saw bar oil to lube the cable.
