strut placement

Building a .12 mono,.. Back a long time ago when I was building monos I remember something about offsetting the strut to one side or the other.. I'm thinking,.. (looking from the rear of the boat) that the left side lifts with torque.. can't remember which side to offset to... or should I just put it in the center of the boat..

I'm hoping it offsets to the right.

Strut Center of the boat, Rudder blade center line, in line with the right side stringer. Length of hardware brackets? Leading edge of prop & leading edge of rudder blade in line with each other. This puts the prop wash behind the rudder blade.
