Kinda knew it was time to visit an old haunt that was sure to hold some Mango Snapper about this time of year- Stopped by Gandy Bait and hit the boys up for 2 doz Med Skrimps and rolled- Wasnt gonna take more than that if it was right. Banged out my bag in about 15 mins ,nothing to write home about 13's-14's / but its dinner for me and the wife tonight- and released a pile more just to burn the bait, they where chewing big time and I left em hungy. Its nice to know after all these years I can check my calender/plan a quick land based mission and score. A notebook from years of fishing- IS YOUR BEST FRIEND

It feels good to know the mojo is still there

For some reason I cant get pics out of my phone- but we all know what an inshore bag of Mango's looks like. Catch and release in Hot Grease is tonights motto- a little black beans/yellow rice and peas - Yeeeeeep

Funny you mention that- I was trying not to draw too much attention ( one of those spots

) and only carried my bait bucket and rod in hand. Well that was all fine and dandy till I had to start putting fish in my 5 gal bait bucket- every time I reached in for a fresh shrimp I couldnt help but think, one of those little *******s is gonna pay me back
