Starting belt size for Sport 40 and 1/8 scale

What size starting belts should I get for a Sport 40 and a 1/8 scale?

i would say 17-18 i use 15 on my B monos and the work great sport 40 or 1/8th scale i go just a bit bigger. depends on how much slack you want i prefer less thats just me everyone is different.

Julian is correct 17" is the best in my opinion.

Thanks guys...the 15" seemed like it might be a bit of a tight fit for the 1/8 scale (.67) motor...I can see where one would not want too much slack...so the 17" it is!

Tim, The shorter belts will work-but I like to tuck mine over the motor so it does not contact the pipe and melt it.

Yup,I buy mine from Walt Barney 6 at a time and even use them to start my gas boats
