Found this on ebay been looking for a sport 40 I am new to the sport and did not know that A.B. had made a sport 40 is it worth a look?

It looks like an older Muck hull.

Some of the hardware might be from CMDi. Looks like a CMBi rudder assembly but its hard to tell from the pictures. Not sure I'd like K&B 40 with exhaust throttle.

I was thinking the same thing, a Steve Muck hull

Hull is OK, ran one years ago with an OPS 45 in it

I was interested to see what the seller had to say about this boat. It does look nice, atleast what I can see of it in the pictures. Here's what he said about the hull.......

Andy Brown was the designer of the hull. The hatch has been modified to look like a turbine boat. It does not conform to the rules of "scale" so it has to be run in "sport" class. Prop is too far back and it is not painted like a full-sized race boat. "40" is the size of the motor. Great question by the way. Brings back a lot of great memories. I really enjoyed this hobby but finacial situation and the lack of good water forces me to move this one first. The rigger is next.
