Sport 40 winter project

Hey I got busy and started on this project last month it is based on the SSP45 and The SRT boat I have been tinkering with for the last two years. This 07 version should be a little more user friendly than the 06 boat, which was fast but never came up with a setup i liked.

This version will have more room for the fuel or radio in front and have a lower CG. I dont have the nose on this one like the SSP45 but I have the engine a little more to the front. I may put a moveable wing between the front sponsons.

I will post some more picture as the building progress.

It is scratch built no kit I ordered the wood from Lonestar and cut it out

This will be a protoype to test if it goes well it could be a epoxy glass boat

I can consider that idea. The SSP21 is a good running boat but It could use some more room under the cowl.

Yes I posted a couple more pictures

I have the frames all cut out and the 1/8th square stringers glued in.

I used West to glue the bulkheads to the bottom sheet and the joints of all the frames.

Wow phill, looking absolutelly great! Keep up the good progress, and man cutting out all them pieces had to take awhile!

Yes this boat will have a lot of room for radio install and engine pipe installs.
