Sport 40 questions

Hi guys, I went boating today and my mate brought out a Maus Motorsports scorpion 45 sport 40, it has got a few year old Mac 45 that's basically brand new it runs a Mac pipe and a X452 2 blader which is stock, we had the pipe at 11 inchs to get it to run nice, the boat was going around reasonably nice but I was wondering if you guys had any better prop suggestions, I thought the prop might be a bit big because 11 inchs on a 45 pipe I'm thinking is to long, it's on 40% nitro. Any info would be great, don't know the motor position and the strut looked about 3/4 inch down.

de tounged x450/3 pipe @ 10'' should get it going . would love to see this class kick on in oz again

Octura X447/3 X646/3 or a X450/3 you may have to reduce diameter or pitch on the 450/3

10" to 10-3/8 should be good for a pipe length

That boat was designed around an Octura X-646/3. Try one with 5.29" of cup.

shorten your pipe to 9 3/4 in and ....HOLD ON
