Sport 40 prop

I always run X447 or X448 on my sport 40's. I do not race, run 25% fuel and use box stock engines. My sport 40 run in the high 40's. Now I want to try a Prather 235. Is it too much prop for the engine (OS 46 and K&B 7.5)using low nitro?

Octura 450 3 blade and you will can say goodbye to the 40 mph! Providing you have your pipe/prop/setup all working together.

Hey Rick Still got it but I have not had plans to get it going not just yet anyway Got the Scale, 20 Mono running decent right off the shelf after 4 years sitting, The 20 mod I am having some trouble with so far and still trying to get it worked out.

Kez, Try a P230 kinda inbetween the X448 and the P235.

Back in the day use to run a fisher hull with a P240 K&B 7.5. I also ran the Dave Frank 2 hull with OS 46 p240.
