Sport 40 hydo strut.

I noticed Speedmaster has both a flat and round bottom hydro strutb (3/16 cable), which one is most preffered for a Sport 40 and why?

Josh alot comes down to preference. A flat bottom strut can generate lift but at the risk of creating a hop in certain conditions in some cases. Alot of that will have to do with how much negative angle you set into the strut adjustment. I have used both successfully, my current Smokin' Joe's scale has a flat bottom strut & works real well at about 1/2 degree negative angle. Look at it this way, start with a flat bottom strut & experiment. You can always round it off if you don't like it.

Thanks for the input Don... I agree with you, It's easier to round off the edges on a flat one!
